We ended up leaving early and driving an hour to the other property. The food court only consisted of fast food, we ate Panda Express, which was pretty inexpensive and we got a lot of food for our money! We probably won't visit again until they make some expansions and add a bar on the casino floor.
What a huge inconvenience, especially since they've just watched you get a drink at the bar. Then security will see you come from the bar where they card you again to go back onto the gaming floor. Harrah's in Cherokee abides by that rule but Murphy does not. They have security room checks every 24 hours even though when you watch the Casino channel on TV it says every 48 hours. If you want to get a drink yourself instead of waiting for a server (who are hard to find) you have to leave the gaming floor go to the only bar, get carded. I enjoy staying at the hotel but if your intentions is to sleep at your leisure then think twice. The hotel was really nice! The rooms were nice, wasn't expecting the room to be as dirty as it was since the hotel is so new! The casino itself is very small and not much games to choose from.
We figured we would give this new one a try since we enjoyed the other one so much. We travel to Cherokee quite often to play at Harrahs and love that it's so big and so many different choices in gaming.
